  • D9224: Administration of general anesthesia with advanced airway – first 15-minute increment, or any portion thereof (Class C)
  • D9225: Administration of general anesthesia with advanced airway – each subsequent 15-minute increment, or any portion thereof (Class C)

Locum Tenens credentialing requirement

If your practice utilizes Locum Tenens, please be advised that all providers must be credentialed in order to be considered in-network with Connection Dental. There is no carve-out or exception for Locum Tenens providers under Connection Dental policies. While some plans may honor Locum Tenens arrangements, this is strictly at the plans' discretion and does not override the networks' credentialing requirements.

Changes to G.E.H.A dental member ID cards for 2026

Effective January 1, 2026, certain G.E.H.A dental members will receive new ID cards featuring an updated logo, while others will continue to use their existing cards with the previous G.E.H.A logo. These updates are part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the member experience and streamline branding across all plans.

New ID cards will be issued to new G.E.H.A dental members, members who request a replacement card and members with reinstated coverage. Existing G.E.H.A logo cards will remain valid for members with no changes to their dental plan or coverage.

To avoid any delays, please ensure that your systems and staff are prepared to accept both versions of the ID card. Updated FAQs and support materials will be available on the G.E.H.A provider portal and welcome site to assist you.

If you have any questions or need help verifying member eligibility or benefits, please contact our Provider Services team at 1-877-434-2336 or visit geha.com.

Not all employer groups associated with payors use the G.E.H.A Connection Dental Network. Providers should always verify benefits and eligibility directly with the payor.

For payor contact information, call Provider Relations at 1-800-505-8880, option 3.

Medicare Advantage plan benefits

Code of Conduct

As part of our G.E.H.A Compliance Program, all contracted entities that perform administrative or health care services must review the G.E.H.A Code of Ethical Business Conduct. This review is mandatory and must be completed when the partnership with G.E.H.A starts during the initial application process — and annually thereafter. If you have any questions, contact G.E.H.A Connection Dental Network at 1-800-505-8880, option 4.

Mandatory general compliance and fraud, waste and abuse (FWA) training

All offices must complete the general compliance and fraud, waste and abuse (FWA) training found on the Connection Dental Network Provider Portal. Training is quick and easy — go to connectiondental.com and select Log In.

Good news: While the annual review is mandatory, the new attestation form only needs to be completed once.
