Features of the IVR (Interactive Voice Response) system

We have automated features to make verifying your provider information quick and easy. Access the features below through our IVR system, after following the requested phone prompts:

  • Fee schedule fax back
  • Location effective date
  • Initial application status

The IVR system is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Call 1-800-505-8880 and follow the provider validation prompt.

Introducing our new brand identity

We’re thrilled to unveil our newly refreshed website, now featuring a vibrant color palette and a streamlined, modern design. While everything remains right where you expect it, the updated look offers a more engaging and informative experience. This rebrand reflects our continued evolution and is proudly aligned with our parent company, G.E.H.A, ensuring consistency and unity across our shared mission and values.

Code of conduct

As part of our G.E.H.A Compliance Program, all contracted entities that perform administrative or health care services must review the G.E.H.A Code of Ethical Business Conduct. This review is mandatory and must be completed when the partnership with G.E.H.A starts during the initial application process — and annually independently thereafter.
Please visit our website at connectiondental.com and select Resource Center. Under Resource Links, select G.E.H.A Code of Ethical Business Conduct and read the documents. No other action is needed. If you have any questions regarding this request, contact G.E.H.A Connection Dental Network at 1-800-505-8880, option 4. We appreciate your participation in the G.E.H.A Connection Dental Network.

Medicare Advantage enrollment: An expanding opportunity

Since 2010, Medicare Advantage enrollment has more than doubled, and this growth is expected to only continue. Nearly all Medicare Advantage plans offered to beneficiaries now include an option for dental coverage. By partnering with these plans, your practice can benefit from the growing number of patients seeking dental coverage through Medicare Advantage.

Important note: It’s always best practice to contact the payor directly to verify benefits and confirm your participation via your G.E.H.A Connection Dental Network fee schedules before seeing the patient.

To see a current list of the Medicare Advantage plans, please access your Payor List.

Directory requirement and importance of updating your information

The Connection Dental Network has policies and procedures in place to ensure we have the most current directory information available for our providers. However, we need your help.
Please ensure that your directory information is kept up to date. The importance of this cannot be overstated, as it allows patients to have access to accurate information and ensures that new patients can locate participating providers.
Additionally, when our providers complete directory updates in a timely manner and submit address change forms, it helps payors identify the correct claim payment mailing address. This is crucial for the smooth processing of claims and ensuring timely payments.

Access the Payor List in your Provider Portal

To review the latest Payor List, you will need to log in to your Connection Dental Network Provider Portal and follow the steps below. The list is updated monthly.

If you have not registered on the CDN Provider Portal:

1. Go to connectiondental.com and select Register at the top of the home page. Complete all required fields, including your CDN contact ID number, which is needed to display your information in the Provider Portal. If you need your CDN contact ID, please call 1-800-505-8880, option 4.
2. Once registered, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your Connection Dental Network web account. After confirming, you may log in.
3. Once logged in, select Network Information.
4. You will see a drop-down box for Connection Dental Network Payor List. Select this option, and the Payor List will be downloaded.

If you are an existing user on the Provider Portal:

Go to connectiondental.com and select Log In. Enter your email address, then your password and security question answer. If you registered, but did not enter your CDN contact ID number, you will need to enter it before the Provider Dashboard will display:

1. Navigate to Manage Account.
2. Select Profile Information.
3. Enter your CDN contact ID (if you need your CDN contact ID, please call the support number provided below).
4. Select Submit.
5. The dashboard should display. If it does not, select Manage Account again to refresh.
6. Once logged in, select Network Information.
7. You will see a drop-down box for Connection Dental Network Payor List. Select this option, and the Payor List will be downloaded.

You can also call 1-800-505-8880, option 3, to request a copy of the latest Payor List.

Reminder: Verify network and reimbursement details with each payor

  • Not all employer groups associated with payors use the Connection Dental Network. Providers should always verify benefits and eligibility directly with the payor. By contacting the payor, a provider can identify which network fee schedule is being used for claim reimbursement and verify participation status with the plan.
  • For payor contact information, call Provider Relations at 1-800-505-8880, option 3. The Payor List is updated monthly and is available through the G.E.H.A Connection Dental Provider Portal. Group-contracted providers may contact their representative to access a copy.

Mandatory general compliance and fraud, waste and abuse (FWA) training

All offices must complete the general compliance and fraud, waste and abuse (FWA) training found on the Connection Dental Network Provider Portal.
Training is quick and easy — go to connectiondental.com and select Log In. Once logged in, providers will be prompted to complete the required training.
Good news: While the annual review is mandatory, the new attestation form only needs to be completed once. It remains valid throughout your partnership with G.E.H.A and Connection Dental — no need to sign again!
G.E.H.A Connection Dental sends out letters annually to providers who have not completed the required documentation. If you receive a letter, please complete and return the FWA form by mail, fax or email.

G.E.H.A Provider Portal training video now available

We’re excited to announce that our G.E.H.A Provider Portal training video is now live.
This step-by-step video will guide providers through essential portal features, including how to:

  • Verify patient eligibility and benefits
  • Link tax identification numbers in TIN maintenance
  • View claim status
  • Access EOBs and remittance advice (RA)

You can view the training in two ways:
1. Go to connectiondental.com and select Launch Training on the Navigate with Confidence: Master the G.E.H.A Provider Portal banner.

2. Go to connectiondental.com and select Resource Center. Under Resource Links, choose Navigating the G.E.H.A Provider Portal Training.

Be sure to check out the What’s New References category in the Resources section of the Resource Center at connectiondental.com to keep up to date on new and revised payor notices, provider manuals and state-specific policies and procedures. We encourage you to check out the Resource Center on a regular basis to see updates as they occur.
